Welcome to the Biodegradable Technologies team at ECTM

Our multidisciplinary team is developing biodegradable MEMS, a new class of micro-electro-mechanical systems made entirely of biodegradable materials, including sensors, actuators, and electric circuits, for medical and environmental applications.

  • 01/12/2023 Welcome to Ceren Kutucu and Maarten Lemmens who will start their MSc projects in our group. Ceren will work on a biodegradable sensor to assess wound healing, in collaboration with prof. Paddy French, and Maarten will work on a new approach for a biodegradable membrane for vascularized brainorganoids, with Elena. Furthermore, after their 3-months internship projects in our group, Wil and Tim are starting their MSc projects. Welcome to all!
